The Imperial School of Business and Science (ISBS) has celebrated 280 graduates from the Class of 2025/2026, with a call for stronger pathways into employment and entrepreneurship.

Addressing the graduation ceremony in Gaborone on October 14, Honourable Justice Sidney Tshepiso Pilane urged graduates to turn their qualifications into practical solutions for Botswana’s economy. He also challenged employers to create opportunities through mentorship, internships and recruitment.

Justice Pilane encouraged graduates to identify unmet needs, gain practical experience and explore entrepreneurship, emphasising that qualifications become more valuable when applied to solving problems and building sustainable businesses.

ISBS Managing Director Nidheesh Sharma said the institution remained committed to equipping students with relevant knowledge and practical skills to contribute to Botswana’s development. Its programmes span business management, finance, education, tourism, logistics, digital marketing and public health, among other disciplines.

Meanwhile, nine top-achieving students received scholarships valued at P22,000 each to pursue a Post Graduate Diploma in Management at ISBS, bringing the total scholarship value to P198,000. The awards support further professional development while recognising academic excellence. The ceremony highlighted the shared responsibility of graduates, families, educators and industry in creating opportunities for young professionals.
